Overview:
Butterfly Noir Inc. is a non-profit arts organization that strives to close the opportunity gap for emerging artists that are historically underrepresented, whose talent is underrepresented in all aspects of the tv, film, and media industry. We aim to provide free and low cost educational workshops, programs, and consulting services for a multi-generational collective of artists that help them develop and publish creative content. Butterfly Noir is seeking a creative and dependable Writing Facilitator to teach an Infusing Activism into Writing workshop. This role is perfect for someone active in activism and can mix art and social justice. $50 an hour. Weekly sessions are 2 hours. There is flexibility on the class time and day.
Responsibilities:
Teach workshop once a week
Provide workshop course curriculum
Track and report participant attendance
Email correspondence with workshop participants
Qualifications:
Must have experience in script writing for film or television
Strong background in storytellling
