Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in great service? Pizza Factory in Groveland, CA is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Shift Lead to help guide our team and ensure smooth operations during each shift.

About the Role

As a Shift Lead, you’ll play a key leadership role in supervising day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards in food quality and service, and supporting a positive and productive work environment. You’ll be expected to jump in and help wherever needed—because here, “It’s not my job” doesn’t exist.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and ensure completion of all daily, weekly, and monthly checklists.
• Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service at all times.
• Ensure food is prepared and served to Pizza Factory standards.
• Open and close the store accurately and complete prep work as needed.
• Actively participate in food prep, customer service, and delivery coordination.
• Train and support staff to meet goals in sales, service, and cleanliness.
• Monitor and manage cash handling procedures and daily reconciliation.
• Maintain equipment and ensure cleanliness and safety protocols are followed.
• Receive and inspect inventory in line with store policies.
• Provide operational feedback and suggestions to the Team Leader.

Qualifications & Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a quick-service or high-volume pizza restaurant.
• Strong basic math and cash handling skills; POS experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and lead by example.
• Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
• Professional grooming and hygiene are a must.
• Current FHC (Food Handler Card) required.
• Completion of SHPT (Sexual Harassment Prevention Training) required.
• RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification required.

Working Conditions

• Work in hot kitchen environments (80–100°F) and occasionally in cooler conditions (10–40°F).
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for 2–6 hours at a time.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, and walking throughout shifts.
• Comfortable working around common kitchen allergens (fruits, nuts, meats, shellfish, etc.).
