Job Title: R&D Lab TechnicianJob Description Join our dynamic team as an R&D Lab Technician, where you will play a crucial role in advancing our research and development initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects, focusing on scaling up processes for new materials and customers. Responsibilities + Manage all raw materials and prepare samples for R&D testing. + Operate pilot scale extrusion equipment for R&D scale-up work. + Perform laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. + Maintain and troubleshoot chemical processes, including routine extrusion, blending, and testing. + Document all necessary testing, production, and R&D data accurately. Essential Skills + Strong background in plastic extrusion for R&D purposes. + Intimate knowledge of the plastic extrusion scale-up process. + Experience with resin and chemical processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with R&D and scale-up projects is highly desirable. Work Environment Work will be conducted in the lab and R&D scale-up areas daily. The position requires a commitment of 40 to 45 hours per week, with flexible start times between 6, 7, or 8 am from Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sheboygan, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.
