Primary Art Teacher | Teaching Jobs in the UAE | TAX FREE income with benefits

My client is a leading school, as part of a larger growing group of schools in the UAE. It has been established for about 25 years and has many expat teachers at the school.

I am seeking a qualified and experience Primary Art Teacher or a Teacher of Art willing to do primary level. The students are mainly local but well behaved. You will need to be a teacher that can inspire the love of Art in the lessons and make the learning relative and fun. The school is well resourced with a vibrant teaching and leadership team. This is a great opportunity to pick up the USA Common Corre and the IB curriculum.  Many of the teacher recruited are from western countries and the medium in which teaching and learniing is done is English.

Requirements to apply

1. Bachelor’s degree in Primary/Elementary Education with a specialism in Art OR
2. A degree in Art with a teaching qualification like a PGCE or USA Teaching license
3. M.Ed. in Primary/Elementary is beneficial 
4. At least two years of full-time experience as elementary teacher
5. Trained from a recognised university
6. Have a high level of written and spoken English
7. Tech savvy to use MS teams, Zoom, MS Office suite and Google Apps
8. MUST have a HIGH COMMAND of written and spoken English or IELTS level 7 to be considered

As a primary teacher you will be required to:

1. Create lesson plans that are engaging and fun to teach
2. Create the Lesson plan resoureces to ensure students are equipped during the lesson
3. Differentiate your lessons to meet the needs of your students
4. Carry out formative assessment on a regular basis to ensure students are meeting the standards that are required
5. Promote an inquiry based classroom
6. Decorate your classroom to promote teaching and learning
7. Create a classroom environment that promotes students to learn independently and also to engage with peers and teachers
8. Have excellent classroom management
9. Attend parent teacher conferences
10. Attend staff briefing
11. Plan collaboratively with other pyewipe teachers
12. Attend department to meetings
13. Attend after school IB PYP CPD training sessions
14. Be able to work independently as well as with the team

There is a huge Art interest in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah with the RAK Fine Arts Festival which has expanded every year.  The rule of Ras Al Khaimah has a huge love for Art and so this is a great place tio come for Art enthusiasts.  RAK is only 45 minutes from Dubai and offers a more authentic Emirate that is also fast growing. There is a recent growth of residential and commercial developmemt with more projects being developed ona monthly basis. It is about 1/3 cheaper than living in Dubai but gives you the same if not a better quality of lifestyle. It also has a big sports community especially in water sports and Golf. Salary range, dependent upon years of experience and qualification: 

1. AED 12,000 AED to 15,6750 AED per month

Additional:

**Experience of the IB Curriculum is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
**Experience of USA Curriculum such as American Harcourt, AP and Common Core is highly valued
**It will be beneficial to your application if you have experience of working in the Middle East or with non-native speakers of English

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 12,000 up to 15,675  AED (UAE Dirham)per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE

Flight(s) provided annual flights for the teacher only

Utility Bills:

500AED per month

Baggage Allowance:

up to 500 USD on actual reciept
