LOCATION AREA : Near Oak Lawn

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm OR 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

ABOUT THE ROLE  

We are looking to hire an experienced Porter to help us keep growing. If you're hard-working and dedicated. Worth Ross is an ideal place to get ahead. Assist in the daily cleaning of the interior and exterior of a mid-rise condominium community. Mopping, sweeping, trash removal, and power washing. Team player and a strong desire to advance their career in a fast-paced environment. Ability to walk, stand, climb ladders, and carry objects up to 50 lbs. Ability to work closely with others. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO  

• Provides excellent customer service to guests; responds to guest inquiries in a courteous manner
• Immediately reports any incidents or claims to GM or AGM
• Communicates effectively and demonstrates good customer service skills to residents, guests, vendors, and other staff members.
• Identifies and clarifies the residents’ needs and desires. Answers questions and provides solutions.
• Clean receptacles and take out waste management containers.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are safe, clean, and organized.
• Report any safety concerns that need to be addressed.
• Sweeping, disinfecting, and mopping common areas and vestibule areas.
• Pick up recyclables and trash.
• Maintains pool furniture and building perimeter. 
• Valet Service Trash and Recycle 2x a week 
• Clean the Community room, gym, and grill at the pool.

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE  

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a porter or housekeeper preferred
• Basic maintenance experience (plumbing, painting, electrical)

• Physical demands include the ability to lift 30-50lbs.

• Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms and respond quickly and appropriately
