Position Summary:

The Operations Project Manager will lead and manage key operational projects from inception to completion, with a strong focus on continuous process improvement. Ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, while aligning with the company's strategic goals. Coordinate cross-functional teams, maintain clear communication, drive process enhancements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management & Execution: Lead complex, cross-functional projects from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets. Scope, plan, and manage enterprise initiatives (e.g., new systems rollouts, process overhauls, integrations) and field-focused efforts (e.g., staffing model pilots, field enablement tools). Track and report on key milestones, risks, and results, proactively managing changes to scope or timelines as needed. Facilitate post-project evaluations and apply learnings to future initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the connective tissue between field teams, corporate departments, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery. Engage key partners early and often to drive clarity, accountability, and buy-in. Translate operational challenges into clear project plans, ensuring needs of the end users—especially field operations—are represented.
  • Operational & Process Excellence: Identify gaps or inefficiencies in current workflows and design solutions to drive performance and scalability. Apply continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to develop standardized, repeatable processes. Maintain thorough documentation of changes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational workflows for sustainability and knowledge transfer.
  • Change Management & Adoption: Partner with training, communications, and field leadership to develop and execute change management strategies that drive adoption and minimize disruption. Support testing, piloting, and scaling of new processes or tools across field locations or departments.
  • Leadership & Influence: Provide informal leadership to project teams, including direction-setting, coaching, and facilitating effective decision-making. May have direct or indirect responsibility for administrative or project support staff. Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives

To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an operational or project management role required; Experience managing enterprise and field-facing projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of operations in a distributed or multi-location business model required
  • PMP or other project management certification preferred
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization required
  • Proven ability to lead projects with high visibility, tight timelines, and multiple stakeholders required
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights required
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, or similar project management platforms required
  • Self-starter with strong initiative, organization, and follow-through required
