Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced NetSuite Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and support the transformation of data and business processes from NetSuite to Oracle Database. This individual will play a key role in understanding the existing NetSuite environment, mapping the data structures, and collaborating with technical and business teams to successfully migrate and integrate data into Oracle systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary SME for NetSuite modules including financials, supply chain, procurement, and CRM
Lead the end-to-end data migration process from NetSuite to Oracle Database
Collaborate with data engineers and DBAs to define data models, mappings, and transformation rules
Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and validation
Support integration planning and testing between NetSuite and Oracle systems
Document system workflows, data lineage, and technical transformation steps
Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and completeness
Identify and troubleshoot data inconsistencies or gaps in the migration process
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of experience with NetSuite ERP, including implementation or customization
Strong understanding of NetSuite data structures and reporting tools
Proven experience in migrating data from NetSuite to Oracle (Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud Database)
Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database concepts
Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Fivetran) and scripting (e.g., Python or SuiteScript) is a plus
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Nice to Have:
Experience with SuiteAnalytics, SuiteScript, or SuiteFlow
Oracle certification (e.g., Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle Database Admin)
Prior experience working with finance or supply chain teams
