Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with an hourly pay rate of $33.00 / hour plus incentives. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.
This is a Cover Driver role responsible for filling in when regular Line Haul Drivers are out due to vacation or illness. During coverage, the driver will follow the schedule of the absent driver, typically starting around 12:00 AM, and will focus solely on driving duties.
When not covering, responsibilities include: Yard jockeying trucks and trailers and performing warehouse tasks, including case handling.
Monday - Thursday schedule, 4 days a week, Guaranteed 40 Hours, Home Daily.
Class A CDL + Doubles/Triples Endorsement REQUIRED
The Line Haul Driver Class A is responsible for delivering products from the Edwardsville, KS distribution center to one of our depot locations then back to Edwardwardsville. All freight is off loaded and loaded by warehouse staff.
