**1st Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician: 30-45/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in a metal fabrication shop specializing in producing low volume custom metal parts. This role offers the unique opportunity to learn from our retiring maintenance technician and eventually take over the entire maintenance operation. **Responsibilities** + Work alongside the current maintenance technician to learn and eventually take over maintenance operations. + Troubleshoot and diagnose problems swiftly, especially with custom proprietary equipment. + Perform repairs independently with minimal supervision. + Maintain mechanical and electrical systems, including building maintenance tasks such as plumbing and basic HVAC. **Essential Skills** + Experience with metal fabrication equipment such as Press Brakes, Punch Press, Lasers, CNC, and Turrets. + Strong mechanical and electrical skills. + Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently. + Proficiency in preventive maintenance and diagnostics. + Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, 3 phase wiring, PLC troubleshooting, and welding. + Knowledge of automation, PLC control, electrical troubleshooting, maintenance repair, conveyors, motors, ladder logic, blueprints, repair, and installation. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned shop where you can enjoy the autonomy of a one-person maintenance department.
