Position Summary: We are seeking experienced ETL Developers to support the U.S. Army’s SAP PLM to ePDM Windchill data migration initiative. These roles are critical to designing, developing, and executing robust ETL pipelines that ensure accurate, secure, and efficient data transformation and loading from legacy SAP PLM systems into the Windchill ePDM environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement ETL workflows to extract, cleanse, transform, and load structured and unstructured data from SAP PLM into Windchill ePDM
• Develop Python scripts and Windchill loaders to automate data transformation and file conversion (e.g., C4/CAL to PDF)
• Collaborate with data architects, Windchill developers, and QA teams to validate data integrity and ensure compliance with Army data standards
• Participate in data migration rehearsals and Go-Live cutover planning
• Document data mapping, transformation logic, and validation rules for audit and traceability
• Monitor ETL performance and troubleshoot issues related to data quality, load failures, or transformation logic
• Support post-migration audits and user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm successful data transfer
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in ETL development, preferably in defense or government environments
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL tools (e.g., BODS, Talend, Informatica, or custom scripting frameworks)
• Experience with SAP PLM data structures
• Strong understanding of data modeling, cleansing, and validation techniques
• Familiarity with DoD data security and confidentiality protocols
• Must be US Citizen
• Currently holds an active U.S. security clearance
• Security+ Certification (or obtained within 30-45 days of project start)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Army logistics systems
• Experience with Windchill ePDM
• Familiarity with Windchill loaders and QueryBuilder reports
• Agile or DevSecOps experience in a federal contracting environment
Work Environment: Remote / Hybrid work environment. In-person collaboration is required to support engagement with the team. In addition to in-office days, employees have the flexibility to telework on designated days or as needed, provided they adhere to established communication protocols and fulfill their work responsibilities effectively. Additionally, travel will be required to customer site and may be required at subcontractor sites and other office locations.
