Opening Information: * Branch Location: Albany, NY * 1-2 Openings Available * Full-time, Permanent * Monday-Friday Dayshift Why Join Us? * Hourly Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour * $1,500 Signing Bonus for 2+ years experience * Quarterly Profit-Sharing Bonuses - up to $1,500 quarterly * Training Bonuses - up to $3,000 for Manufacturer & Technician Training * Annual Performance Reviews - with raise opportunities * Premium Health Insurance Benefits * 401(k) Employer Matching Program What You’ll Do * Perform safety inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of heavy-duty and niche municipal equipment. * Work on vac trucks, hydro vacs, street sweepers, refuse/recycling trucks, and more. * Collaborate with the Service Writer and Parts team to ensure efficient service. * Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, safe workspace. What You Bring * Education from an accredited technical school in diesel engine/hydraulics/heavy equipment repair preferred but not required * Valid CDL driver’s license (or ability to obtain a CDL) and a clean driver’s abstract * Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check * 3+ years’ experience working in a mechanic / technician role * Experienced with hydraulic and/or electrical work Additional Perks * Tool Allowance * Safety Eyewear & Boot Allowance * Ongoing safety training and a certified Employment Equity workplace Previous experience is required, but we are open to individuals with previous transferable skills such as: mechanic, diesel mechanic, automotive, diesel, automotive technician, heavy equipment mechanic, trailways, heavy equipment technician Ready to Apply?
