Food Production Line Worker

Summary: 

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Production Line Worker. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation, cooking, and packaging of food items in a fast-paced production environment. Chinese food cooking knowledge and Basic English communication skills are required to follow instructions, work with team members, and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in production according to standardized operation procedures.
• Operate kitchen and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Portion, package, and label finished food products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Assist with inventory and restocking of ingredients.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualification:

• Experience with Chinese cuisine (e.g., stir-fry, steaming, dumplings, sauces) preferred
• Ability to communicate in basic English (speaking, reading instructions)
• Previous experience in a food production or kitchen environment is an asset
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Working Conditions: 

• Fast-paced food production facility or commercial kitchen
• Exposure to heat, noise, and cooking odors

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Part Time (35+ hours per week)
• Location: 6491 Caballero Blvd., Buena Park, CA 90620.

Compensation:

The pay range for this job is between $17 and $20 per hour. This is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) the responsibilities of the job, your education, skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
