Job Description

Our Client's Professional Services organization is supporting Leading Carriers in the Telecommunications industry. They have a project with to assist with Data Center / CO Consolidation efforts. In order to start the engineering process they need to conduct a thorough audit of the existing facilities. They need our assistance with providing local on site resources to conduct this audit. They will then be the local smart hands to help prepare the cabling and fiber for the migrations. Using information provided during Audits, this team is responsible for performing circuit grooms and migrations for their carrier customers. Responsible for supporting live circuit traffic migration work in these carriers networks. There will be pre wiring work in preparation for circuit migrations and support through the migration efforts. This is the process of moving live customer circuits from legacy equipment to other legacy equipment or new equipment. This work will primarily be done during the maintenance window. Additional Skills & Qualifications Attention to detail Understanding of what to do and not do in a CO with live traffic. Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
