We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled statistician to fill the role of Biostatistician II In this role, you will work closely with lead biostatisticians and project teams to ensure that statistical methods are applied accurately and effectively to inform decision-making processes. The position is responsible for applying model statistical techniques to clinical studies and to play a key role in the development and validation of CareDx products in Solid Organ Transplantation. In addition, the Biostatistician will provide statistical support to various projects and initiatives within the company. This is a technical role having key interfaces with personnel from Medicare Affairs, Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management and Laboratory Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide statistical expertise for design, analysis and reporting of clinical studies
• Collaborate with various functions on study design and planning, protocol development, statistical methodology and analysis.
• Perform sample size calculations
• Perform statistical ad hoc analysis.
• Prepare statistical analysis plans and analysis specifications.
• Develop analytical pipelines and QC the results.
• Collaborate with data management and clinical operations to ensure robust CRF and database development and quality data collection.
• Collaborate in publications, assist in data interpretation, and ensure consistency and accuracy in data presentation
• Contribute to the interpretation of results and support the preparation of manuscripts for publication.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master in statistics, mathematics, computational methods, or a related discipline
• Experience in biotech or related industry is preferred;
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Good interpersonal and project management skills are essential.
• Proficiency in R and/or SAS.

San Francisco Bay Area Roles:

The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in Brisbane, California is $100,000 to $125,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.

Remote: US only roles

The anticipated base salary range in the United States is $88,000 to $110,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
