Our café is a neighborhood staple in Bucktown —small but bustling, known for specialty coffee , a delicious (and viral) breakfast sandwich , and a warm, welcoming vibe. We’re building out a new pastry program with the goal of making it shine just as brightly as everything else we do.
Our new pastry chef brings 20+ Years of Pastry Experience & Knowledge, as well as a deep passion for mentorship, technique, and creativity. This is a rare opportunity to work directly with an experienced chef in a collaborative environment where ideas are welcome, standards are high, and growth is part of the job.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is passionate about pastry
Has 2+ Years of pastry kitchen experience
Works clean, fast, and with a strong attention to detail
Would like to play an important role in the restructure of our pastry program - we're shooting for the stars!
What you'll do:
Assist in production of a seasonal, evolving pastry menu
Learn and develop foundational and advanced techniques in a hands-on setting
Support daily service and prep in a high-quality, low-ego kitchen
Contribute to a growing program with creativity and care
